Andrea Fields is our Medical Scribe Lead, LDA/LDI Health Coach and Office administration support. Her educational background began with a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition Studies at the University of Minnesota which led to a Masters of Science in Human Nutrition and Functional Medicine from the University of Western States. Andrea furthered her integrative expertise by being involved with a variety of experiences relevant to her position, including her previous work with the Ramsey County WIC program as a nutrition educator mentoring and supporting patients through visits, education, and resource provision.
Andrea has been with Newbridge for over seven years, and in that time has operated in many different aspects of our practice, including reception, supplements, and office management support. She is also our Medical Scribe Lead and helped initiate our scribing program at Newbridge. Her focus with each patient is to give the most detailed care information available to help inform and assist them through their healing journey. She prides on efficiency and organization in her work, and builds up trust through her communication skills.
She finds that consistency and reliability, coupled with encouragement and collaboration, is key to one's path to optimal wellness. Her interest in the interconnection between food and one’s whole-body healing stems from a long-held passion for integrative health, and she continually links her extensive background with nutrition and her fascination for functional medicine to her patient interactions. Andrea’s ability to support all providers and patients with their respective needs, her gentle and composed persona, and her flexible personality make her an excellent fit for Newbridge. With Andrea’s years of experience at Newbridge, you can always expect high-quality, cutting edge care that is rooted in the core values of Functional Medicine.
In her free time, Andrea enjoys reading, being with her family, guiding her daughter Reese through childhood, and taking her dog on walks. She also loves to work with her hands, and finds passion in DIY-ing, crafts, and cooking new recipes.
