What Is Frequency-Specific Microcurrent (FSM)?

Frequency-Specific Microcurrent (FSM) is an intervention for injury, pain, inflammation, and other disturbances in your body. Each type of tissue in your body produces electromagnetic energy and resonates at a specific frequency. When cells in your body are injured or diseased, the tissue’s vibrational frequency is disrupted, and FSM therapy matches the frequency of the tissue involved and delivers two channels of microcurrent stimulation.
This form of treatment is not painful. In fact, you can sit in a chair or lie on the exam table during therapy. The currents are delivered to the body through clips attached to a damp towel. At most, you may notice a tingling at the towel locations along with a warming sensation near the affected area.
