Dr. Arrieta’s journey into medicine began at a young age, driven by a deep desire to understand the complexities of health and healing. With a deep passion for a holistic approach to patient care, Dr. Arrieta has dedicated her career to blending traditional medical practices with evidence-based integrative and functional medicine therapies to treat the whole person.
Dr. Arrieta completed her medical education at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center and earned board certification in Family Medicine. Seeking a more comprehensive approach to healing, she went on to complete a two-year fellowship in Integrative Medicine through the Academy of Integrative Health and Medicine (AIHM) and achieved an additional board certification in Integrative Medicine through the American Board of Physician Specialties. During her residency at Texas Tech in Amarillo, Dr. Arrieta studied Integrative Medicine through the University of Arizona’s Andrew Weil Center for Integrative Medicine and learned Functional Medicine, under the mentorship of leaders in the field. Since moving to Minnesota, Dr. Arrieta has completed extensive training in Functional Medicine through the Institute of Functional Medicine as well as other professional organizations. She also has delved deep into acute/chronic Lyme disease, COVID-19 associated diseases, environmental medicine, and mold biotoxin illness.
Dr. Arrieta incorporates principles of both traditional and functional medicine to provide patients with a comprehensive, personalized approach to health and wellness. She focuses on identifying and treating the root causes of chronic conditions, restoring balance, and guiding her patients toward optimal health and wellness.
