Sarah is a Nurse Practitioner and Acupuncturist with over 20 years of clinical experience. She is certified in Functional Medicine and is trained in sports medicine acupuncture. She specializes in digestive disorders, irritable bowel syndrome, women’s health, thyroid disorders, autoimmunity, chronic and acute pain and health maintenance. She combines eastern and western medicine for a truly integrative treatment of the mind, body and spirit.
Sarah believes in personalized healthcare that treats the individual, not the disease. She began her journey into alternative medicine after working many years in hospitals and clinics and witnessing how compassion and caring had been lost in health care. The body is intelligent and has an inherent ability to heal if one can determine the root cause of disease and correct imbalances. Sarah combines functional medicine diagnostics with effective natural therapies to restore the body’s innate ability to heal. She brings hope and presence to support you on your healing journey.Sarah’s own struggles with digestive disorders led her down her own path of healing and wellness. After seeing multiple traditional medical practitioners with no answers or relief of symptoms, Sarah began her own search for healing. With functional medicine diagnostics and treatments, Sarah was able to determine the root cause of her symptoms and finally found relief from chronic pain. Through this experience, she learned the essence of true health care. Sarah has a passion for learning and searching for the source of her clients' health challenges.
