Madison empowers her patients to take an active role in their health, and focuses on aligning neurological and psychological components to heal both the mind and body.
Madison Colby is a trained Neurofeedback Technician. She joins Newbridge as a graduate of Ithaca College with a B.A. in Psychology, where she graduated with honors and was a recipient of the Dana Research Intern Scholarship. Her clinical background includes working as a mental health counselor, health center assistant, and holding research positions in cognitive psychology, behavioral neuroscience, and developmental neurobiology.
Madison first became interested in neuroscience and psychology through learning about the gut-brain interaction in the human microbiome, and the intricacies of neurodegenerative disorders. She enjoys studying memory, cognition, and psychological arousal and its relations to the autonomic system, and looks to bring her extensive knowledge into each patient interaction. Madison’s love for learning and expanding the breadth of her knowledge about the human experience is what makes her a perfect fit for Newbridge.
Madison empowers her patients to take an active role in their health, and focuses on aligning neurological and psychological components to heal both the mind and body. She is passionate about guiding patients through each part of their healing journey, and witnessing the transformations that can come through functional and holistic medicine.
In her free time, Madison enjoys exploring Minnesota, including hiking, swimming, and gardening. She looks to continue her education through PhD level study in the future.
