Neurotherapy Technician and Certified IASIS Provider - Provisional

Lauryn is our Neurotherapy Technician and a Certified IASIS Provider – Provisional 

Lauryn graduated with high honors from the University of Minnesota where she received a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Integrative Neuroscience. She is passionate about understanding the fundamentals of human behavior, neuroplasticity, and rehabilitation options for neuropsychological disorders. She is also a certified provider of IASIS MCN, a neurofeedback modality we offer here at Newbridge Health & Wellness. 

Lauryn is heavily involved in research through the Department of Pediatrics, Center for Magnetic Resonance Imaging at the University of Minnesota, where she performs neuropsychiatric assessments to determine neurocognitive function. She has experience in facilitating and reviewing MRI scans, and gathers and presents literature reviews and meta-analysis on current and groundbreaking research in the Neuroscience field. She has also cared for patients in postoperative hospital settings, pediatrics, and senior living facilities as a Certified Nursing Assistant. 

She provides care for our patients of all ages by performing qEEG brain mappings and administering various neurotherapy treatments. She strives to help patients understand and treat the neurologic root cause of symptoms they are experiencing.

In her free time, Lauryn enjoys being outside, hiking, boating, or exercising. She also loves to garden and has a large indoor plant collection. Lauryn enjoys finding new local coffee shops and plant nurseries to spend her weekends at.  She loves spending time with her family and friends, attending sporting events, and being active.

Degrees:  Bachelor of Science in Psychology, Minor in Neuroscience, University of Minnesota, MN December 2021 – Summa Cum Laude

Training: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), First Aid Certification, CPR Certification, Medical Imaging Laboratory Experience. Lauryn is a board member of the University of Minnesota’s Psychology Club, a member of the Psi Chi International Honors Society in Psychology, and graduated with High Honors from the University of Minnesota.
