Becky Smith is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) with over a decade of experience working with people of all ages and a variety of backgrounds.

Becky Smith is our Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), with over 10 years of experience providing clinical and non-clinical services for children, adolescents, and adults with diverse backgrounds and life experiences. She received a Master of Arts degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of St. Thomas, and has worked in a variety of settings including in-home, higher education, and outpatient medical clinics.

Becky believes in improving patient quality care by providing more comprehensive and coordinated care through an integrated approach. She views overall health and wellbeing with a holistic and whole person lens, emphasizing the relationship between mind, body, and spirit in healing. She feels passionate about natural and functional medicine, and enjoys working with others who are open to exploring the various elements of their story and identifying root causes to their symptoms or struggles by gaining insight into the several dimensions of health and wellbeing.  

Becky focuses on building an authentic and safe therapeutic alliance with patients and their families by offering a warm and personal style, and she aims to help them create the change they want to see by working collaboratively on goal setting and treatment planning. She believes that patients and their families are the experts of their own lives and she also believes in finding a balance between acceptance and change. She integrates elements from many therapy modalities and views therapy through a trauma-informed lens.Her overall goal is to offer space, support, guidance, psychoeducation, and tangible skills to help patients and families reach their goals.  

Becky has experience working with patients with anxiety, OCD, depression, trauma- and stressor- related disorders, neurodevelopmental – ASD, ADHD, and has worked with individuals and couples of all ages, both in-person and via Telehealth. Becky has a love for learning and prioritizes professional development to sharpen her skills and develop new competencies to incorporate into her clinical practice. 

In her personal time, Becky enjoys reading non-fiction, listening to music and attending live shows, connecting with her friends and family, singing karaoke around the campfire, and traveling. She equally likes spending time indoors and outdoors, and loves most things about Fall – the colors, the cooling temperatures, warming comfort foods, clothing layers and accessories. She is a mom to two young kids (ages five and three) and a fur baby named Finley. She understands the stresses of parenthood and the importance of self-care. She enjoys walking and other restorative forms of exercise, as well as engaging in spiritual practices (meditation and gratitude) to relax, rejuvenate, and feel grounded Becky also likes to learn about essential oils and aromatherapy, ayurveda, energy healing, and other forms of alternative and complementary medicine.
